Field Recording fanzine available, Simon Scott web feature and a brand new mix (free download).

Cheryl Tipp, the Natural Sounds Curator at the British Library, has put together and edited an astonishing latest edition of 'An Antidote to Indifference' for http://www.caughtbytheriver.net/2013/07/24694-field-recordings/. My 'Below Sea Level' album feature from 2012 is included and I am delighted to be part of such an insightful and interesting feature!

To buy a copy of this publication go to the Caught By The River site (you may soon find copies of my album in their shop plus lots of other recommended books ('On Nature' is a big favorite), prints and music) here:- http://www.caughtbytheriver.net/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=396

I have recently created a new mix for http://secretthirteen.org that features some of my favorite artists, including Miles Davis, John Fahey, This Mortal Coil, James Blackshaw and Swans, that I am keen to share. It is a FREE download and I hope you enjoy the selection:- http://secretthirteen.org/secret-thirteen-mix-077-simon-scott/

Also, I have had a nice write up on The Sirens Sound website that I am very flattered to read. It discusses my current work and some previous releases. You can read it all here:- http://www.thesirenssound.com/2013/07/10/simon-scott-below-sea-level/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter

Finally I have a piece coming up on Caught By The River about my life in The Fens.... keep your eyes on the site around the 16th July for the feature: http://www.caughtbytheriver.net/
